Beating SIBO is possible when you understand how to do it 

SIBO is a bacterial overgrowth in the small intestine that’s a common root cause of IBS symptoms. Many people are not diagnosed for years. Once they are diagnosed, this can be a confusing and challenging condition to beat. But it’s doable when you understand how to implement testing, diet, supplementation and nervous system regulation correctly and in the right order. 

The most common SIBO symptoms are:  

  • Bloating and gas
  • Gut pain and inflammation
  • Constipation or diarrhea
  • Weight gain or weight loss

These reactions leave people with SIBO feeling even more stressed, confused and hopeless. And this emotional state can further  flare symptoms. 

Don’t panic or fall for the bad news 

To seek information and not feel so alone people typically join SIBO forums and do online research. 

The level of doom and gloom in SIBO forums is overwhelming. I could never participate. This becomes an outlet for people’s pain and stress and affects the morale and energy of everyone in the group. If you don’t want to feel desperate, discouraged and anxious, stay away from these groups. 

You may also be confused after Googling SIBO and reading different recommendations. You may have even seen a health practitioner that is not knowledgeable about SIBO and feel ready to give up.

My story 

Five years ago I started bloating after eating high FODMAP foods like cauliflower. I ran a SIBO test on myself and it was off the charts for hydrogen. 

It was supposed to take me 4 months to clear it but it only took me 6 weeks. In the guide I explain how I did it.
