What you need to know about your biome and probiotics: plus my IBS healing story

I wanted to share an interview I did recently with a colleague of mine covering my IBS healing story and some great information about the microbiome (the ecosystem of bacteria that lives inside us and influences our health, moods, thought and life experience.)

We have more bacteria in our bodies than human cells and are only starting to learning how to influence and shape our ecosystems to effect our health.

In the video below I get personal about the three elements I used to heal my gut, immune system and food allergies. It subsequently allowed me to eat anything I wanted for more than a decade without worry.

I discuss what things damage the biome, how to create a diverse biome and what are the best probiotics for SIBO and IBS.

We touch on constipation remedies and the role stress plays in moving the bowels.

Below the video are the link to the supplements I mention.

Below are links to the supplements I mention in my video, but remember to check with your doctor or work with a practitioner while trying new supplements. Self treating is never a good idea.

Probitiocs

Prescript Assist A shelf stable, over the counter probiotic that’s great for people who react to probiotic with bifido bacterium and lactobacillus strains.

Megasporbiotic  This probiotic is so powerful it is only sold by practitioners and can’t be bought directly by the public. That’s because this prescription strength product needs to be dosed slowly and specifically to help with SIBO and IBS. If probiotics have never done anything for you, this is definitely something to try due to it’s potency.

The supplements I took for a year while healing my IBS

Chlorella for detox and liver support.

Chaste tree berry (also called Vitex) for hormone balancing.

Seaweed capsules for remineralizing the body.

Oxypowder for constipation support.

Hope you learned something from this video. Put any questions in the comments below.
